We are seeking a Meter Reader for assignment in The Villages, Florida. The selected candidate will provide field support by reading customer water meters and recording consumption.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

** This position has a pay rate of $14/hr **

- Reads water meters on an assigned route and records readings

- Reports meter skip not acceptable for reading

- Visually checks to see that meters are functioning properly and reports defective meters

- Explains and interprets unusual readings to customer

- Turns water meters on and off

- Performs other related work as directed; such as: painting, valve turning, water line flushing, water sample collection, etc.   

- A valid Driver’s License
