We are seeking a Water Utility Worker for assignment in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The selected candidate will perform a variety of tasks in the operations and maintenance of a water treatment plant on an assigned shift.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

** This position has a pay rate of $17.50/hr **

- Learns and gains skills involving the maintenance of equipment and servicing work in the plant

- Monitors treatment facilities to control flow and processing of water, sludge, and effluent

- Monitors gauges, meters, and control panels

- Observes and reports abnormalities to leads and supervisor

- Maintains shift log and records meter and gauge readings

- Collects samples and performs routine process control tests and analyses

- Performs routine maintenance functions and custodial duties

- Performs other duties as required

- High School Dploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- Familiarity with hand and power tools
